Watches & Wonders 2021 is just around the corner, and with everyone from Replica Rolex to Lange to Patek to TAG showing all together during one virtual show, it promises to be one of the biggest weeks ever for fake watch news. But the brands that aren't showing aren't sitting back and doing nothing ?last week, both Audemars Piguet and Omega dropped their 2021 collections (or at least the starts of them), and there's a ton worth talking about.
At Audemars Piguet, the emphasis was on taking replica watches that contemporary collectors know and love, and giving them technical upgrades and refreshed designs. In some areas, these were purely additive, as with a stunning new platinum "Jumbo" ref. 15202 with a gradient green dial and some new CODE 11.59 pieces with ceramic mid-cases. But in other areas, whole collections got a refresh, most notably the Royal Oak Offshore Diver and Offshore Chronograph. These aren't small potatoes, as these replica watches are some of the most popular in AP's collection and have rabid collectors who focus on just these pieces. In this episode, James, Jon, and I dig into what changes happened, which ones matter most, and why some of these replica watches might be better than ever.

Omega didn't announce quite as many new pieces as Audemars Piguet (we did get a new Moonwatch not that long ago), but their playbook doesn't seem all that different from AP's this go-around. There is a show-stopping novelty in the Seamaster Diver 300m Black Black, an all-black take on their hard-wearing dive watch, and there is a rebooted collection in the latest Seamaster 300 pieces, including a stunner in "bronze gold" that we're super excited to see in the metal.
